Body Painting Models Wanted!
Are you interested in becoming a body painting model?
We are always looking for models for a variety of events and projects. Commercial projects require a stricter adherence to certain body types, but for other projects we are interested in anyone, male or female, with an attractive physique that is interested in participating in this amazing and unique art form.
We are also interested in people with unique or exotic physical characteristics: twins, extremely long hair, dreadlocks etc. can make for a compelling photo session. Gymnasts, contortionists and people with physical skills can be interesting.
If you are interested in being a model for one of our projects, feel free to submit the model form below. If you want to book a private session for your own use, please use the contact form.
Photo Sessions
We are always at work building a portfolio of good work, showing our talents in a variety of creative projects. We are always interested in expanding our artistic explorations to include new designs and thematic approaches. This is an ongoing process, where there is a lot of play and experimentation. Portfolio work can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, depending on concept and complexity. In portfolio work, models are usually not obtaining a fee, however we are offering all photos in return for their services, which they will receive as digital files. Plus, the fun and wondrousness of the bodypainting experience makes for great memories.

Commercial/ Promotional Events
Promotional events are always public and may be within the framework of trade shows, fairs, exhibitions or open door events of any company booking us. Usually the client asks to paint the company's logo on the model's body with an abstract or more complex design depending on the disposable time and the product/company they want to promote. Models may be painted in public if the client asks so. For female models in this case, breasts are always painted first or prior the start of the event. During this time, we always try to feel the model as comfortable as possible and to prohibit anybody to take pictures.
In all cases the model (male or female) will wear underpants. The style depends on the overall design, purpose of the event and the audience. Female models may wear a bra, or nipple shields - again, this will depend on a number of factors. In certain situations a bra may not be worn. The models fee varies on experience, commitment, level of nudity, duration/kind of event, client's budget and model's mission.

reliable punctuality

-
to understand the client's needs and expectations, representing the product
-
being willing to pose with all types of visitors and clients
-
very experienced in posing (without instructions) for the cameras (photographers and visitors) and never hide a painted logo
-
showing commitment and professionalism (being proactive, smiling and acting)
Special Events, Performances and Gallery Exhibits
We sometimes need models for performance events that coordinate the elements of dance, music, performance and bodypainting. These shows are great fun and can also provide a forum to highlight a performance talent or ability such as belly-dancing, poi, or stage acting experience. Just imagine exhibiting your talents with the added intrigue of being body painted.
Gallery shows are different in character from performances in that the models are less entertainers and more living artworks meant to be appreciated in a setting similar to how one might view a sculpture or painting. Models are required to strike a pose and hold it for a period. Then move into a new pose, and, again, holding the pose. Sometimes a model is painted on site as part of an event or opening.
In addition to the previous requirements, here you have to understand the artist idea to be able to correctly express the idea through choreography on the stage and in the photography area (e.g. body painting competitions).
